I am looking for a way to
describe in basic, simple terms how we move from
a sign we see, to a sign we write. Are there steps
to describe this process?

I have a process. Here is the way I write signs,
step-by-step:
1. The
Position of Contact is
written first. It is
the Center of the sign.
2.
There
are 8 possible placements of
Movement Symbols around
the Center. The arrows PULL or DRAG the hands
