This remarkable two-volume, tri-lingual encyclopedic-dictionary includes 9,500 entries in Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS). Each sign is described with an illustration depicting the meaning of the sign, another illustration shows the movement of the sign, word-descriptions explain the sign in Portuguese and English, and each sign is written in SignWriting, a written form for Brazilian Sign Language that is spreading in Brazil.
